Wish List

SO my new favorite shopping site is where I found my new obsession(s). And I use the term "favorite" loosely...it's not my favorite thing...online shopping is just NOT the same as going with girlfriends. Call me old-fashioned. But if a rainy, lazy day demands time spent at home in flannel with the dogs and my husband...www.polyvore.com is what I will be perusing while Jon works on his bike or studies for some insanely-impossible math/finance exam.

So here's my favorite thing right now: MINT colored flats. These Chloe and Lanvin numbers are ridiculous and serious WISH list items. (JCrew has an A D O R A B L E pair which WILL be mine shortly).

I envision these with dark, skinny, cropped denim, a perfect v-neck tee from JCrew, and a seersucker blazer with a statement necklace....LOVE!

I must admit that my wardrobe is void of a chambray shirt. Not to make lame excuses, but I've just been searching for something very specific. I'm not even sure exactly what that means, but I think that this chambray shirtdress from Anthropologie is in the running, and definitely one of those trends that is NOT forgotten.

Sunday Brunch

This Sunday began with a Local, Sustainable & Heirloom (LSH) meal of:

French Breakfast Radishes
Roasted Yellow Beets, Butternut Squash, Foraged Hen of The Woods Mushroom
Line Caught Alaskan Petrale Sole, Crispy Potatoes
Add thyme, garlic & a dash of love

Travels

The key to enjoying San Francisco is knowing that you MUST have the perfect outerwear for the occasion. It may be rainy, chilly, windy, or possibly sunny (preferred). Either way, layers are a necessity...and I think this Kate Spade jacket must accompany me on my day trip.

Magazine subscriptions should be a must-have not wish-list item, but at this point I subscribe to quite a few...so one more has become a luxury. "Real Simple" you WILL be mine on a more consistent basis soon enough! Also added to the list... this awesome "always-stands-upright" toothbrush featured in the December issue...LOVE!

H A P P Y NEW YEAR!!! After (over)eating, drinking, laughing, talking, kissing and napping...there's one thing on my mind...planning. I'm wrapping up 2012 and starting 2013 with clear goals and objectives. I got a cute, new planner/notebook and it's time to get started. Who's with me??!!

I don't currently have anything flannel in my wardrobe. This, I'm told, is a mistake. Maybe I should succumb to the trend and snag this plaid-ish, flannel-ish oversized jacket from Anthropologie... ? I'm so indecisive!
