When I went for a manicure the other day, the room was filled with talk of holiday planning, traveling, and cooking. Another hot topic..."what's my Thanksgiving color going to be??" I just read an article in the November issue of House Beautiful by designer Tom Scheerer in which he makes a case for the beauty of brown. Inspired, I thought I would give the hue a try on my nails, and then maybe work into decor at some point.

I have also been inspired by Martha Stewart's November issue...I mean how can you NOT be?? I think I need to find something orange to wear Thursday, with a hint of purple and green...we'll see what I come up with.
